First time here... Awesome food great drinks my 5 year old enjoyed. Mia our Waitress was very nice. Many things I wanted to try had the crab cakes and it was great! The fish sandwich my old man had was huge and he said it was very good. Will be returning!

My friend took me here when I visited. I had the fisherman platter with the crabcake. The food was so amazing. Crispy fresh fried fish and shrimp, and the crabcake was delicious! Big ol crispy thick fries, out of this world tarter sauce. The portions were huge. The staff was wonderful and it we didn't wait very long for the food. They were busy but still had our food out fast. Great place. I wish I had a pic of the food, but I ate it all before I even thought of doing a review. Great place!!

First let me say...walking in the door.... Beautiful...secondly our server...NOREEN ... the best server I’ve probably ever had so thank you for all your positive vibes and amazing service... and to top all of that off the food was DELICIOUS . My wife and I ate here while we were visiting Pittsburgh and the food is absolutely delicious. My wife got the lasagna while I got the chicken parm and both dishes were absolutely spectacular. My wife is still raving about the lasagna, saying it's the best she's ever had. The service is great, the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of you like you are apart of the family. Highly recommend!

I haven't been in East Mckeesport for 15 years, and, I remembered Rene's. Thanks to the family that has kept it "the way Rene would have wanted it." Just finished the leftovers after I drove back to the center of the state. I've forgotten her name, but, the 70-year old waitress, who's been working there for 38 years, is just as nice and quick as ever. She's as nice and natural as could be. It made our visit even better just having her take care of us. To the kitchen staff, great fish sandwich as it's always been. Enough for 3 sandwiches. Great tartar sauce. Great mac N cheese. The coleslaw is grated finely and seasoned perfectly. Thanks again. Dave and Lynn Celvi

I love this place! All the food is so tasty..they have really good tarter sauce. It has dill pickles and dill in the sauce..yum! Nice Tuesday night all you can eat pasta and meatballs 8.99. So good..plus salad and bread. Saturday 2 for 20.00. Service can be hit or miss, either I get the best server or not so much.! But great food!

The fish sandwich USED to be my favorite thing on the menu before I ventured out of my comfort zone to try whatever a Gondola is; turns out it's incredible. It's getting harder and harder to pick every time I go in. It's so good!

I live almost 4 hours away and I am in the area several times a year and we always have dinner there once every trip! I am pretty sure I have had every item on the menu and then some. Chef Randy is always on his game and never disappoints!!!! Till next time.
